Psychotherapy for adolescents and adults navigating moments of change, self-questioning, or rebuilding their sense of self
I am a psychologist graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Ispa. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Emotional Health for Babies, Children, Young Adults and Families from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
Before dedicating myself to clinical psychology, I worked in human resources at multinational companies. Throughout my life, I have had the opportunity to live in four countries: the United States, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and, finally, Portugal. This experience broadened my perspective on the diverse ways of living, relating, and building one's own story.
Migration, with its practical, subjective, and relational challenges, deepened my sensitivity to the processes of change, loss, and rebuilding that many people go through in life. This journey has contributed to a clinical practice marked by attention to each person's uniqueness and by empathy in the face of the complexity of human experience.
I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating moments of existential questioning, emotional distress, and relationship challenges, often associated with life transitions, family ties, or multicultural experiences.
My work is guided by a systemic approach and offers a space for reflection, sustained by clinical responsibility, assertiveness, and respect for the pace and singularity of each patient.
I work from a systemic perspective, recognizing that each person is shaped by the systems they live within: family, culture, and social context. Rather than focusing solely on individual difficulties, we explore together the patterns, narratives, and dynamics that influence your life, creating space for genuine and meaningful transformation.
Professional, relational, and geographical changes that generate questioning and uncertainty.
Anxiety, sadness, relationship conflicts, and difficulties in the processes of grief and loss.
Challenges of migration, cultural identity, adaptation, and rebuilding life in a new context.
Complex family dynamics, communication, boundaries, and relationship patterns.
A search for meaning, purpose, and authenticity in personal and professional life.
